This Rare, Centennial Singer Featherweight 221K is in fabulous condition and ready to sew right out of the case.  It is fitted with an original 220-volt motor that has been rewound to work at 110 voltage with optimum speed and torque.  A voltage converter is not needed in the USA or Canada.  Be sure to click on any image above to view the beauty of this machine.  It is in excellent condition with a few very small pin scratches and receives a grade 8.  EG306*** indicates an original commission date of December 18th, 1950.

What makes this Featherweight unique?

This Featherweight is distinguished by the 'Manufactured in Great Britain' decal on the back of the machine arm.  A similar decal (composed in French) was frequently placed on 221 Featherweights sold in France.  It is not clear why Singer added this origin country decal when a machine would be sold in the UK, but they are certainly rare and difficult to come by.

The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later.  The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.

The machine is fitted with an original scrolled faceplate and the original case includes the top tray for holding the attachments.
